Hello, my name is Jo. Guy and I met at a church called CCH in Austin, Texas, a couple of years ago. When I first met Guy, I thought, “Why is he so happy? Is it because he’s English or a triplet?” I wasn’t sure of what to think of him. But, a feeling of acceptance radiated from him, making it comfortable for me to speak casually and openly with him.
When my wife was pregnant with our first child, I remember Guy visiting us at our house in the country. The drive was long, yet he still managed to swing by. We sat on the screened-in porch, talking effortlessly for hours, getting to know each other. Conversations with Guy are the best!
I see Guy as an older brother I can talk to about anything—knowing he won’t judge me and listening with an open heart. As an ex-drug and alcohol user, Guy has been a great influence in my life. I feel lucky to know him. Everyone needs a “Guy” in their lives. Love you, Guy!
